About STEINEL sensors
STEINEL is a German company known for motion and presence detectors, sensor-switched lights and hot air and glue tools. Its sensors are what electricians and lighting designers most often specify for offices, schools, warehouses, car parks and hotels.
The professional range covers passive infrared (PIR), high-frequency (HF) and ultrasonic detectors. One of the most searched models is the IS 3360, a 360° PIR presence detector that picks up tangential movement within a 20 m radius at mounting heights up to 4 m – more than 1000 m² from a single unit. The HF 360 is a high-frequency presence detector for toilets with cubicles, changing rooms, stairwells and other ancillary spaces, and detects movement regardless of temperature. Both come in KNX versions too.
True Presence KNX is STEINEL’s multisensor: besides detecting people, it measures brightness, temperature, humidity, air pressure, CO2 and volatile organic compounds. The range also includes indoor and outdoor lights with built-in sensors, floodlights and bollards.
STEINEL products are not yet listed in the WATTpro online shop, but they can be ordered on request, from single units to project volumes. We order from the manufacturer once you place your order, so delivery takes 2–4 weeks. We ship anywhere in Latvia by Latvijas Pasts courier, or you can collect from our office and warehouse at Piedrujas iela 18, Riga, by prior arrangement.
