About it’s about RoMi
it’s about RoMi is a Dutch lighting brand that started in 1993 in a small attic and is now based in Amsterdam. Its design language is simple but confident: pure materials and clear shapes that work in homes as well as cafés and offices.
A hallmark of the brand is that its lamps are named after cities. Frequently searched models include Tivoli, Marseille, Sapporo and Helsinki, while the brand’s own story highlights Stockholm, its first biodegradable lamp, and Hanoi and Saigon, its first bamboo lamps. The range spans pendants, wall and ceiling lights, table lamps and floor lamps, so a whole room can be lit in one style.
In the early 2010s the brand moved towards sustainable materials, and it runs a “1 lamp = 1 tree” scheme, planting trees for lamps sold. The same team also created the sister brand Good&Mojo, which is fully dedicated to sustainable lighting.
